Vangi Bhaat
Ingredients:
Brinjals -3 (big) cut in to varieties(circle,vertical,broad)
potato -1 (cut in to vertical)
onion -1
cooked rice - 2 cups
salt,chillipowder
oil -3 Tbsp
turmeric -a pinch
vanghi bhaat powder:
mustard,jeera,methi ,urad dal,chana dal,red chillies,curry leaves,peanuts-1 tsp
cloves,dalchini,elachi -2 each
Heat 1 Tbsp oil,fry the above ingredients,cool it and make it into a fine powder.
Method:
Heat oil add onions and fry till they r transperent.Now add potatoes ,brinjal pieces and cook on low flame till they r soft.Add turmeric ,vanghi bhaat pwdr and mix well.Also add cooked rice and turn off the stove.add salt and mix well.

Hi priya,I can only see the picture... iam not able to view the recipe.
I thought, it would be impossible to be a vegetarian and still be sane in Japan, Priya. Good to see you being both. :)
