Mirchi Bajji & Crispy pakoras





Ingredients:

Mirchi Bajji

Green chillies - 10
Gram flour(Besan) - 1 cup
salt,chilli powder
soda-a pinch
water
onion -1(finely chopped)
Oil for frying

Method:

Mix all the above ingredients except oil.Keep aside for 10 mins.Heat oil ,Dip mirchi in the gram glour batter and put it in oil and fry it,Do the same procedure for the remaining bajji`s.Then remove bajji`s and let it cool and repeat the same procedure for 3 to 4 times for all bajji`s.Cut each bajji vertical and fill with chopped onion .Sprinkle lemon juice over the bajji`s.Serve hot with ketchup or any chutney.

Pakora`s:

Ingredients:

gram flour -1 cup
Onion -1 (vertically sliced)
salt,chilli powder
soda -pinch
water -very little to make batter of medium consistency
Oil for frying

Method:

Mix besan,onion,salt chilli powder,soda .Now add little water to make the batter very thick .Heat oil ,Dip onion slices in hot oil and fry it till they turn in gloden brown color.Serve hot with Ketchup or any other chutney.

Vangi Bhaat



Ingredients:

Brinjals -3 (big) cut in to varieties(circle,vertical,broad)
potato -1 (cut in to vertical)
onion -1
cooked rice - 2 cups
salt,chillipowder
oil -3 Tbsp
turmeric -a pinch


vanghi bhaat powder:

mustard,jeera,methi ,urad dal,chana dal,red chillies,curry leaves,peanuts-1 tsp
cloves,dalchini,elachi -2 each
Heat 1 Tbsp oil,fry the above ingredients,cool it and make it into a fine powder.

Method:

Heat oil add onions and fry till they r transperent.Now add potatoes ,brinjal pieces and cook on low flame till they r soft.Add turmeric ,vanghi bhaat pwdr and mix well.Also add cooked rice and turn off the stove.add salt and mix well.

Spicy Cabbage vada`s ...Tasty Tasty!!!!




Ingredients:

cabaage -1/2 cup
maida -11/2 cup
salt
chilli powder
cooking soda,sugar -apinch
onion -1/2 cup
water -enough to make dough
Oil for frying

Method:

Mix maida,salt,chilli pwdr,soda,sugar well .Now add cabbage and onion,make a dough so tht u can make balls .Heat oil and now make the dough into equal number of balls and fry it till they turn into golden brown or light brown.Serve hot with Ketchup.

Boiled Sweet-potato in Jaggery..Yummy!!!!!!





Ingredients:

half Boiled sweet-potatoes - 2(cut into round circles)
jaggery - 1 cup(grated)
water - 1 cup

Method:

Boil water.Add jaggery,let it boil for 5-10 mins.Now add half boiled sweet potatoes.Let the sweet potato completly cooked in jaggery.let it cool so that the jaggery liquid can be thick. Serve Chilled!!!!
